Inspired by the general election this pice is called "Podiums of Downing Street."
Did you know that since Blair and Brown, who used a lectern resembling the thing teachers wheeled out at school when they needed a TV, every Prime Minister has had their own custom podium? Cameron's was a bit curvy, setting a new standard. Theresa May's was more austere, reminiscent of something that would describe running through fields of wheat as its naughtiest act. Johnson's was bloated and full of self-importance. Liz Truss peaked with a Jenga-inspired, slightly unhinged version that reportedly cost £4,175. Rishi stood in the rain behind his podium, which seemed to borrow elements from Truss's but made it his own.
In an edition of 14 (one for each of the Tory years in power) comes in a black and white version, with the option to add a puddle in front of Rishi's podium—your choice. Make that decision when you order.
